Uniform Printing - Creative Design and Print

Uniform Printing

Screen printed branded uniforms and workwear for hospitality, retail, trades and corporate sectors.

A good uniform does a lot of heavy lifting for your business. Customers know who to talk to. Your team looks like they belong together. And your brand gets seen every single day without any ongoing effort. We handle custom uniform printing at our Henderson workshop for Auckland businesses in hospitality, retail, trades, healthcare and corporate. It's one of the core things we do as part of our screen printing capabilities, and we've been doing it for a long time.

What is Uniform Printing?

When your uniforms look consistent and sharp, people notice. Customers trust you more. Staff feel like part of a team. And your branding shows up in every interaction without you having to think about it. That's what a well-executed uniform programme delivers. If you need blank workwear without printing, our corporate uniform sourcing covers that from our Paramount Drive base.

Here's what we handle:

  • Requirements consultation (we learn your business first)
  • Garment selection from suppliers we trust
  • Design and artwork preparation
  • Sample production for approval
  • Size collection and order planning
  • Screen printing production
  • Ongoing reorder support

We keep everything on file. When you need more uniforms six months from now, it's a simple reorder.

Restaurants, retail shops, trade companies and corporate offices across Auckland use us for uniform printing. They come back because the uniforms hold up through daily wear and frequent washing.

When You Need Us

When You Need Uniform Printing

1

New Business Launch

Opening a restaurant, cafe, retail store or service business. You need your team looking professional from the first day of trade.

2

Trades Business

You're going into customer homes and onto worksites. Branded uniforms tell people you're the real deal, not a random contractor.

3

New Staff Onboarding

New hire starts next week. They need a uniform that matches everyone else. We've got your specs on file.

4

Additional Locations

Second or third site opening up. Same branding, same quality, new location. We keep everything consistent across your business.

5

Rebranding Rollout

New logo, new colours, fresh direction. Time to update every uniform across the team to match.

6

Uniform Refresh

The current batch is looking tired. Faded prints, worn collars. A refresh brings your team's appearance back up to standard.

7

Seasonal Variations

Lighter polos for summer, long sleeves or fleeces for winter. Same branding adapted for the weather.

8

Event Staff

Pop-up event, product launch, Christmas promotion. Temporary staff who still need to look like part of the team.

9

Growing Teams

Business is growing and you're hiring. Each new person needs a uniform in their size that matches the existing crew.

10

Replacement Orders

Uniforms wear out. That's normal. We reproduce your exact spec so replacements are indistinguishable from the originals.

Our Process

Our Uniform Printing Process

01

Understanding Your Requirements

Tell us about your business. What roles need uniforms? What do your staff actually do day to day? What conditions are they working in? We start here because it shapes everything that follows.

02

Garment Selection

We help you choose garments that look right, feel comfortable for a full shift and won't fall apart after a few months of real use. Fabric matters more than most people realise.

03

Design and Artwork

Your logo gets prepped for screen printing. We work out the right size, placement and colour setup so it prints consistently on every single garment.

04

Sample Production

For new programmes, you get a sample to approve. Your staff can try it on, check the fit, see the print. No surprises when the full order arrives.

05

Size Collection and Planning

We work with you on quantities and sizes. The goal is to make sure every team member is covered with the right fit from the start.

06

Production

Uniform printing runs with careful attention to consistency. The first shirt and the hundredth shirt look identical. We monitor quality throughout.

07

Quality Inspection

Every garment is checked. Print quality, colour accuracy, garment condition. If something isn't right, it doesn't ship.

08

Delivery and Ongoing Support

Uniforms arrive ready to hand out. And when you need more (you will), everything's on file for a straightforward reorder.

Why Choose Us

Why Choose Creative Design and Print for Uniform Printing?

Workplace Demand Understanding

Hospitality washes uniforms daily. Trades put them through physical abuse. Retail staff wear them for 8-hour shifts. We pick garments and methods that match your reality.

Consistent Branding

Order 5 today and 50 in six months. They'll match. We keep records of garment codes, ink colours and print placements so nothing drifts.

Flexible Quantities

Hiring one person? Need two replacement shirts? We handle small top-up orders just as efficiently as big initial runs.

Quality Reflection

Your uniform is a direct reflection of your business. If it looks worn out and faded, that's the impression customers get. Our prints don't do that.

Programme Management

We go beyond just printing. Need help tracking sizes, coordinating restocks, managing your ongoing programme? We can do that.

Easy Reordering

Everything stays on file. New staff member? Tell us the size. We reproduce your exact uniform without any setup fuss.

Uniform Printing Coverage - Auckland Wide

Our Henderson team provides professional uniform printing services across the greater Auckland region.

Our Henderson base ensures convenient access for customers across Auckland for all your uniform printing needs.

Uniform Printing Pricing

What you pay depends on the garment, order size, print complexity and whether this is a new programme or a restock. We'll lay it out clearly in your quote.

Initial Programme Setup

First orders include artwork setup and production specs. That's a one-time thing. All of it gets stored for future reorders.

Quantity Pricing

Bigger orders bring the per-unit cost down. Top-up orders for new hires stay reasonable because the setup work is already done.

Garment Quality Options

We offer blanks at different levels. Basic tees, mid-range polos, premium dress shirts. You pick the right fit for your industry and standards.

Frequently Asked Questions - Uniform Printing

Most of them. Polo shirts, t-shirts, button-down shirts, work shirts, jackets. The main thing we need is a reasonably flat print surface. Very textured fabrics or garments with seams running through the print area might need a different approach, but we'll tell you upfront.
Flip them inside out before washing. Cold or warm water, not hot. No fabric softener (it breaks down the print over time). Low tumble dry or hang dry. And don't press an iron directly onto the printed area. That's it.
Cotton and cotton blends give the best results. The ink bonds well, the colours pop, and the prints age gracefully. Polycotton is a great middle ground for easy-care workwear. Pure polyester works too, but it needs specific techniques to stop dye migration.
We can, yes. Just check with us before you buy the blanks. Not every garment is suitable for screen printing, and it's better to confirm before you've got 50 shirts that won't take ink properly. Send us the details and we'll advise.
Contact us with the sizes you need. We've got your full specs on file from the original order, so we reproduce the exact same uniform. New staff get shirts identical to the rest of the team.
They shouldn't. Properly cured screen prints hold their colour through normal washing when you follow care instructions. If you do notice fading, get in touch. It could be a production issue we'd want to know about, or it might be a washing method worth adjusting.
