Real feedback from real Auckland clients

Every review on this page comes straight from Google, written by people we have actually worked with. We have not picked and chosen, paid for any of them, or rewritten the words. If you are weighing up whether to send us a quote request, this is where you find out what working with us is actually like.

What clients usually tell us

A few themes come up again and again when people leave us feedback. If you have not worked with us before, here is roughly what to expect.

You will be dealing with Steve, not a sales team

We are a small West Auckland operation, and Steve runs the show. That means when you send an enquiry through, he is the one reading it, asking the questions and pulling the job together. There is no account manager handing your job off to someone else. You talk to the person who is going to make sure it gets done properly.

"Steve has the skills, knowledge and attention to detail, to listen and understand what you say."
Tom McDonald · Google review

We are set up for long-term relationships

A lot of our clients have been with us for years. The kind of feedback we get most is from people who came back for a second job, then a fifth, then a tenth. That tends to happen when the print holds up, the artwork is on file, and you can ring us about a reorder without having to re-explain everything. We are not chasing one-off transactions.

"Steven has been my go-to graphic designer and printer for 17 years, and for good reason."
Joelle Thomson · Google review

Detail matters, and so do the changes you ask for

Good print starts with good prep. We would rather spend an extra hour getting artwork right than rush something to press and have you unhappy with the finish. If you need to tweak a colour, swap a placement or run a second proof, that is part of how we work, not a hassle.

"The team always show very high attention to detail and always happy to accommodate all my crazy changes."
Zeb Wales · Google Local Guide

One team for print, apparel and signage

Most local businesses do not want to chase three different suppliers for branded gear, printed material and uniforms. We can keep the branding consistent across the lot because it all goes through the same shop. Signage, apparel, stationery, hi-vis, display gear, business cards. All under one roof.

"Signage, business cards, flyers, stationery requirements, hi vis and workwear, invitations, posters and display equipment."
Gail Leach · Google Local Guide, 10+ years

Work we have been proud to print

A few examples from the kind of jobs we get up to. These are real Auckland brands and organisations whose gear has gone through our press over the past few years.

Four Monkeys BBQ Rubs and Seasonings logo printed in white on a black t-shirt

Four Monkeys BBQ Rubs and Seasonings

A small NZ food brand with a strong visual identity, big illustrated crests and bold typography across their merch. We have screen printed apparel runs for them, including dark-garment work where the white underbase has to be sharp or the whole design falls flat. Detailed artwork like theirs is what screen printing is best at. The result is a print that sits into the cotton instead of on top of it, and it survives the kind of washing a working kitchen will put it through.

Charcoal caps and beanies with embroidered Blake Civil Construction logo in teal

Blake Civil Construction

A working construction crew needed branded caps and beanies that would actually hold up on site, not look tired after a fortnight. We embroidered their logo onto charcoal caps and beanies so the thread sits raised into the fabric instead of cracking off the way a print eventually does on cold-weather gear. For staff and workwear, embroidery is usually the right call. It is the standard for a reason, and it gives crew gear the kind of premium feel that reads as a proper uniform rather than a giveaway.

Bold red Te Whare o Ahi t-shirt with large white printed type across the front

Te Whare o Ahi

Bold red tees with large white type across the front, the kind of design that has to look right from across a room. Big single-colour prints on coloured garments are deceptively tricky. The print has to be vivid and even, with no gaps or patchiness around the edges of the letterforms. That comes down to ink choice, screen tension and press setup. It is the sort of job that looks simple on the brief and rewards a printer who has done a lot of them.

Nature's Kai branded t-shirt with detailed full-colour deer and fish illustration printed on the chest

Nature's Kai

An outdoor and hunting-inspired brand with a detailed full-colour graphic anchoring the design. Multi-colour illustrated work on garments is the kind of job where the method matters as much as the print itself. With this many colours and this much detail, we lean toward DTF or high-quality heat transfer rather than chasing a separate screen for every shade. The artwork ends up looking the way it did on the file, and the brand keeps its identity intact across every shirt in the order.

How we handle reviews

The reviews you see on this page all live on our Google Business Profile, which means anyone can verify them. We have not paid for any of them, we have not edited what people said, and we have not screened out the ones that point at something we could have done better. If a review tells us we should have moved faster or communicated more clearly, that is useful, and we would rather have it on the record than buried.

Steve replies to most reviews personally, the same way he reads quote enquiries personally. That is part of how we keep our standards honest. If you ever feel like a job did not land the way it should have, we want to hear about it before it gets to Google. A phone call to the shop or a reply to the quote email goes straight to him.

Worked with us recently?

If a job went well, a short Google review is the single most useful thing you can do for us. It helps other Auckland businesses figure out whether we are the right fit, and it tells us what we should keep doing more of. Even a couple of sentences makes a real difference.
