Embroidered caps and polos at the CDP Henderson studio

METHOD 01

Embroidery

Premium and durable. Best for polos, caps, jackets, beanies and structured uniform pieces where you want the brand to read as quality.

Holds up to industrial washing. Standard for corporate and trades kits where the brand needs to last.

Screen printed branded workwear at scale

METHOD 02

Screen printing

Bulk rollouts of branded t-shirts and tradie shirts. Bold solid colours that bond into the fabric and stay punchy wash after wash.

More efficient per-unit at higher volumes. Standard for full staff t-shirt rollouts.

Tell us garment type, quantity and use case. The right method is usually obvious. We'll match it to how your team actually works.

1

One contact for the lot

Source the garments, brand them, ship them. From one studio.

Buying workwear from one place and sending it somewhere else for branding is a headache. We do the lot under one roof in Henderson. One quote, one invoice, one person to call.

Hi-vis & safety

Compliant gear, no spec sheet required.

  1. AS/NZS 4602.1 Hi-vis garments for non-professional use
  2. AS/NZS 4602.2 Hi-vis garments for professional use
  3. AS/NZS 1906.4 Retroreflective materials
  4. VERIFIED Checked before dispatch

WorkSafe NZ publishes guidance on PPE requirements for high-risk industries, and the underlying AS/NZS standards are maintained by Standards New Zealand. We source hi-vis from suppliers who certify against these standards so the gear you receive is compliant out of the box.

How It Works

How Your Workwear Project Works

01

Tell Us About Your Team

What industry, how many people, what kind of work they're doing day to day. That shapes everything from garment weight to whether you need hi-vis compliance.

02

Garment Recommendation

We recommend specific garments based on your environment. Office team needs different gear from a roofing crew. We carry options across construction, hospitality, healthcare, transport, retail and corporate.

03

Branding Method Selection

Embroidery for premium polos and caps. Screen printing for bulk staff rollouts. Heat transfer for variable data like names or numbers. We tell you which fits your gear and how it'll wear.

04

Size Collection

We give you size charts and sample garments to circulate. Collect accurate measurements from your whole team before production so nobody ends up with a kit that doesn't fit.

05

Sample Approval

On bigger orders we produce a sample first. You hold the actual garment, check the branding placement and durability, then confirm before we commit the rest of the run.

06

Production and Compliance Check

Garments are decorated in our Henderson workshop with quality controls at each stage. Hi-vis gear is verified against AS/NZS compliance before it leaves us.

07

Delivery and Ongoing Reorders

Bulk to one address, sorted per branch, or staff-specific packs. We keep your specs on file so reorders, new hires and seasonal additions are straightforward.

Why Choose Our Workwear

Hi-Vis AS/NZS Compliance

All our hi-vis workwear meets AS/NZS 4602.1 and 4602.2 standards for visibility. Your team stays compliant on site without you cross-referencing spec sheets.

Trusted NZ Suppliers

We source from established workwear brands with a track record in New Zealand. Not random imports that fall apart after three washes or shrink out of compliance.

Embroidery and Print In-House

Garments arrive at your door ready to wear. Your logo is already on them, applied through embroidery or screen printing depending on what suits the garment.

Team Sizing on File

We keep sizing records for your whole team. When someone new starts or a shirt wears out, reordering is straightforward because we already have the details.

Ongoing Reorder Support

Set up a uniform programme once, then reorder as needed. New hires, replacements, seasonal changes. Same garments, same fit, same brand placement.

One Supplier, One Invoice

Sourcing garments from one place and shipping them somewhere else for branding is a headache. We do both, in-house. One contact, one quote, one invoice.

Frequently Asked Questions - Workwear

Yes. All our hi-vis garments meet AS/NZS 4602.1 (non-professional) or 4602.2 (professional) for visibility and AS/NZS 1906.4 for retroreflective materials. We brand them with your company details while keeping everything fully compliant. If your site or industry has stricter requirements, tell us upfront and we'll source accordingly.
It depends on the decoration method. Embroidery and digital transfer have low minimums, so a single embroidered polo or a small batch of branded hi-vis is fine. Screen printing has a per-colour setup cost so it suits bigger runs of 20 or more. Tell us your numbers and we'll match the method to your job.
Embroidery is the go-to for polos, caps, jackets and structured workwear. It's thread-based, raised, and reads as premium. Screen printing is better for bulk t-shirts, tradie shirts and high-volume staff rollouts where you want bold solid graphics. We'll recommend the method that suits your garment and how it'll be worn.
Run a size survey or shared spreadsheet before ordering. Most workwear ranges go XS through 5XL, though some styles cap at 3XL. We provide size charts and can send sample garments to circulate. We then keep your team's sizes on file so reorders for new hires don't need a fresh survey each time.
Email us their name and size. We pull from your saved specs, decorate the garments to match your existing kit, and ship them out. Same garments, same fit, same brand placement as the rest of the team. No need to rebuild the brief.
Yes. Multi-placement branding is common for hi-vis and uniform jobs. Company logo on the chest, full name or role on the back, partner brand or sub-brand on the sleeve. We'll show you placement mockups so you can confirm proportions before production.
Properly applied screen print and embroidery handle commercial laundering fine. Heat transfer and DTF are more sensitive to high-temperature industrial washes, so for hospitality and healthcare kits where garments wash hot and often, we'd usually recommend embroidery for the brand mark. We'll match the method to your washing reality.
