Brochure Printing - Creative Design and Print

Brochure Printing

Professional brochure printing services for Auckland businesses - from tri-fold marketing brochures to premium A4 catalogues with expert design support.

A good brochure does something a website can't. People pick it up, flip through it, leave it on their desk. It sticks around. At our Auckland print shop, we've been printing brochures for local businesses long enough to know what works, and what ends up in the bin.

What is Brochure Printing?

Printing a brochure isn't hard. Printing one that actually looks and feels right? That's where most jobs go sideways. Paper choice matters more than people think. So does the fold, the coating, how the colours sit on the stock. Get those wrong and you've got 500 brochures that feel like junk mail. We make sure that doesn't happen. See what else we print, because brochures are just one piece of the puzzle.

We do tri-folds, bi-folds, gate-folds, A4 brochures, and custom configurations that don't fit neatly into a category. Our shop runs commercial-grade digital and offset equipment, and we keep a solid range of paper stocks on hand, so you're not waiting around for a special order on standard jobs.

We print for sole traders ordering 100 brochures and corporates ordering 10,000. The process is the same either way: get the details right, proof it properly, print it clean. If you need your brochures to match a wider brand system, our design team handles that too. Based in Henderson, we service West Auckland and the rest of the region.

When You Need Us

When You Need Brochure Printing

1

Launching a New Product or Service

You've got something new to sell and you need to get it in front of people. A brochure gives your customer something to take home, read later, show their partner. It outlasts a conversation.

2

Trade Shows and Exhibitions

Everyone at a trade show is handing out material. Most of it's forgettable. A well-printed brochure on decent stock, and that's what people keep. We've printed for Auckland exhibitors who tell us their brochures get more follow-ups than their sales team.

3

Sales Presentations

You do the pitch. You leave the room. What stays behind? A brochure that covers everything you just said, plus a few things you didn't get time for. That's the leave-behind doing its job.

4

Real Estate Marketing

Property brochures need to feel premium. Buyers notice when the paper's too thin or the photos look washed out. We print on heavier stocks with coatings that make listing photos pop the way they should.

5

Menu Printing for Hospitality

Cafe menus, restaurant wine lists, takeaway fold-outs. Hospitality menus take a beating, so stock weight and coating matter here. Lamination is worth considering if your menus see daily handling.

6

Tourism and Hospitality

Tourist brochures live in display racks, get rained on, stuffed in bags. They need to be tough enough to survive that and still look good when someone finally reads them at their hotel.

7

Educational Institutions

School prospectuses and programme guides. Parents compare these side by side, so the print quality becomes part of how they judge the institution. Fair or not, that's how it works.

8

Healthcare Providers

Patient information sheets, clinic brochures, service guides. Readability is everything here: clean layouts, readable fonts, no clutter. People reading these are often stressed. Make it easy for them.

9

Non-Profit Organisations

Charities need to look credible without looking like they blew the budget on printing. There's a sweet spot: clean design, sensible paper choice, no unnecessary extras. We'll help you find it.

10

Corporate Communications

Internal stuff. Policy updates, benefits guides, onboarding packs. Nobody gets excited about these, but they get read more than you'd think, especially when they're well laid out and easy to scan.

Our Process

Our Brochure Printing Process

01

Consultation and Planning

We start with the basics. What's the brochure for? Who's reading it? How are you distributing it? These answers drive every decision from paper to fold type. Skip this step and you're guessing.

02

Design Development

Bring us your artwork or brief our designers. Either way works. If you've got files, we check them for the usual issues: wrong colour mode, low-res images, missing bleed. Better to catch that now than see it on 1,000 printed copies.

03

Paper and Finish Selection

This is where a lot of people need guidance, and that's fine. Gloss looks sharp but shows fingerprints. Matte feels premium but dulls bright colours slightly. Silk sits in the middle. We'll talk you through it with samples in hand.

04

Fold Type Determination

Tri-fold is the default for most marketing brochures, but it's not always the right call. Gate-fold works brilliantly for reveal moments. Accordion suits step-by-step content. We'll match the fold to what you're actually trying to communicate.

05

Proof Review

You get a proof before anything goes on press. Check the copy, check the colours, check the fold lines. This is your safety net. Use it.

06

Production

Once you've signed off, we print. Colour is calibrated and monitored across the run, so the last brochure off the press should look identical to the first. That's not a nice-to-have, it's the standard.

07

Finishing and Quality Control

Trimmed, scored, folded, checked, packaged. You get brochures that are ready to hand out or mail. Not a stack of flat sheets you need to fold yourself.

Why Choose Us

Why Choose Creative Design and Print for Brochure Printing?

Fold Engineering

The fold isn't just a crease. It controls the reading order. A tri-fold reveals information panel by panel. A gate-fold creates a dramatic open. We'll recommend the right fold for how your audience will actually use the brochure.

Panel Layout Mastery

Laying out a brochure isn't like laying out a flyer. Content has to work across panels, read correctly as each one unfolds, and land on a call to action at the right moment. Our designers think in panels, not pages.

Paper Weight Matching

Too light and it feels cheap. Too heavy and it won't fold cleanly. There's a correct weight for every brochure type and we'll steer you to it, usually somewhere between 170gsm and 250gsm depending on the job.

Multi-Version Runs

Same brochure, different audiences? We run multiple versions without the job becoming a logistical nightmare. Each version stays on-brand while the messaging adapts. Common for businesses with regional offices or multiple product lines.

Coating Selection

Gloss pops colours. Matte hides fingerprints. Soft-touch lamination feels expensive (because it is, slightly). And if people need to write on your brochure (say, filling in details at an event) skip the lamination on those panels.

Distribution-Ready Finishing

Your brochures show up trimmed, folded, and boxed. Ready for the display rack, the mailout, or the trade show table. No assembly required on your end.

Brochure Printing Pricing

Every brochure job is different, so we quote based on what you actually need: quantity, paper, size, fold type, and finishing. Here's how it works:

Transparent Quoting

You get a line-by-line quote. Paper, printing, finishing, delivery, all broken out. No surprises when the invoice arrives.

No Hidden Costs

Setup, proofing, and standard folding are built into the quote. If you want extras like spot UV or foil, we quote those separately and explain what they add.

Quantity Pricing

More brochures = lower cost per unit. That's just how print works. We'll tell you where the price breaks fall so you can make a smart call on quantity.

Design Services Separate

If you need design, that's quoted on its own based on how much work's involved. Plenty of customers bring print-ready PDFs and just pay for the printing.

Frequently Asked Questions - Brochure Printing

Depends what you're doing with them. Mailing out in bulk? 150gsm to 170gsm keeps postage reasonable and still feels solid. Handing them out at a premium event or open home? Go heavier, 200gsm to 300gsm. We keep samples in the shop if you want to feel the difference before you commit.
Don't try to say everything. Seriously, that's the number one mistake. Pick your three strongest selling points, give them room to breathe, and make the call to action obvious. White space isn't wasted space. It's what stops your brochure looking like a tax return. Our designers can help if layout isn't your thing.
Tri-fold is the workhorse. It fits in a DL envelope and works for most marketing. Bi-fold gives you four bigger panels if you need the space. Gate-fold is the one where both sides open outward like doors, and it's brilliant for a big product reveal or hero image. Not sure? Bring your content in and we'll fold some samples for you.
High-res PDF is ideal. Fonts embedded, images in CMYK, and 3mm bleed on all edges. That's the print-ready standard. If your file's in RGB or missing bleed, our team can fix minor issues, but getting it right upfront saves a round of proofing.
Give us your Pantone references or CMYK breakdowns. We colour-calibrate our equipment and can run a printed proof for you to hold up against your existing materials. One thing to know: screen colours and print colours will never be a perfect match. That's physics, not a printing problem. But we get them as close as the medium allows.
We do. Our in-house designers handle everything from blank-page concepts to tidying up existing artwork. It's quoted separately because design complexity varies wildly. A simple tri-fold with supplied copy is very different from a 12-page product catalogue built from scratch.
