Flyer Printing - Creative Design and Print

Flyer Printing

Flyer printing in Auckland for marketing campaigns, event promotion, and local business letterbox drops.

Here's the thing about flyers: they still work. Really well, actually. People scroll past Instagram ads, but a well-placed A5 flyer on a cafe counter or tucked into a letterbox? That gets read. At our Auckland flyer printing workshop, we handle flyer printing Auckland businesses count on when they need something physical, tangible, and impossible to ignore.

What is Flyer Printing?

A flyer doesn't need wifi. It doesn't need an algorithm. You put it where your customers are, and it does the talking. Letterbox drops in Mt Albert, counter displays at the local dairy, handed out at Saturday markets. Flyers go where digital can't. And they stick around. Explore our print shop services overview for other marketing materials that pair well with a flyer campaign.

We print A5 flyers, DL flyers, A4 flyers, A6 postcards, and pretty much any custom size you can think of. Creative Design and Print runs commercial digital and offset presses, so whether you need 200 flyers for a school fundraiser or 20,000 for a letterbox blitz across West Auckland, the colour stays punchy and consistent from first sheet to last. We also design in-house, which means you're not bouncing between a designer and a printer hoping the files line up.

Grand openings, end-of-season clearances, community events. We've printed flyers for all of it. Pair yours with custom branded stickers for packaging and giveaways, and reach customers across Auckland's western suburbs.

When You Need Us

When You Need Flyer Printing

1

Grand Openings and Launches

You've signed the lease, fitted out the shop, hired staff. Now people need to know you exist. A stack of flyers in nearby letterboxes and on cafe counters does that faster than waiting for Google to notice you.

2

Promotional Sales and Offers

End-of-season clearance? New menu item? Two-for-one deal? Get it printed, get it out there. A flyer in someone's hand beats a social post they scrolled past three seconds ago.

3

Event Promotion

Not everyone's on Facebook, especially the people who'd actually show up to your market, gig, or community event. Flyers on noticeboards, in shop windows, and through letterboxes reach the audience digital misses entirely.

4

Menu Distribution

Takeaway joints and restaurants. The flyer lands on the kitchen bench, sits there for a week, and when Thursday night hits and nobody wants to cook, there's your menu. Right where the decision gets made.

5

Real Estate Marketing

Open home this Saturday? DL flyers through every letterbox within six blocks. Neighbours talk, and half your buyers are already living in the area anyway.

6

Service Announcements

Plumber just set up shop locally? Cleaner expanding into a new suburb? A simple flyer drop lets the neighbourhood know you're around. Old school, but it works.

7

Club and Organisation Recruitment

Sports teams, community groups, hobby clubs. The people you want to reach are walking past your local supermarket and library every day. Put a flyer where they'll actually see it.

8

Educational Institution Promotion

Enrolments, open days, new programmes. Parents make these decisions at home, so that's where your flyer needs to be.

9

Political and Advocacy Campaigns

Letterbox flyers hit every household in a street, a block, a whole electorate. No opt-in required. No algorithm deciding who sees your message.

10

Charity and Non-Profit Appeals

There's something about holding a physical flyer that a donation email just can't replicate. Real paper, real cause, real connection.

Our Process

Our Flyer Printing Process

01

Design Review

Bring us your artwork and we'll check it's actually print-ready (300dpi, CMYK, proper bleed). If something's off, we flag it before anything hits the press. No artwork at all? We design from scratch too.

02

Size and Format Selection

A5 fits most letterboxes and display holders. DL slots into envelopes and brochure racks. A4 gives you room for detailed content. We'll talk through what makes sense for how you're actually distributing them.

03

Paper Selection

Letterbox drops don't need heavy card. 150gsm does the job. But if you want something that sits upright on a counter or survives being pinned to a noticeboard for weeks? That's 250gsm+ territory. We walk you through it.

04

Coating Options

Gloss lamination makes colours pop and handles moisture. Matte gives a more understated, tactile feel. Either way, coated flyers last longer outdoors and look better after being handled.

05

Production

We match the press to the job. Digital for shorter runs where you need punchy colour. Offset for bigger quantities where consistency across thousands of sheets matters. Same result either way: clean, sharp flyers.

06

Finishing and Quality Control

Trimmed to spec, folded if it's a brochure format, and checked before it leaves. We catch the crooked cuts and ink smudges so you don't have to.

Why Choose Us

Why Choose Creative Design and Print for Flyer Printing?

Size and Format Guidance

Not sure whether to go A5, DL, or something else? We'll ask how you're distributing (letterbox, counter display, handed out at events) and recommend the size that actually fits the job.

In-House Flyer Design

Don't have a designer? We've got one. Tell us what you're promoting, hand over your logo and photos, and we'll build a layout that puts the important stuff front and centre. No back-and-forth with a separate design studio.

Durable Coating Options

Flyers pinned to a noticeboard in full sun or stuffed into a wet letterbox? Lamination handles both. Gloss for vibrant colour, matte for a softer feel. Either adds weeks of life.

Double-Sided Printing

Bold headline and hero image on the front. Details, map, terms, menu, whatever you need, on the back. Same sheet, twice the message, no extra weight in the letterbox.

Campaign-Ready Volumes

300 for a single street? Done. 15,000 for a suburb-wide campaign? Also done. And flyer number 14,999 looks identical to flyer number one. Same colour, same trim, same stock.

Distribution-Matched Stock

Lighter 150gsm for letterbox runs where you're covering ground. Heavier 250gsm+ card for counter displays that need to stand upright. We match the paper to what the flyer actually has to do.

Flyer Printing Pricing

Every flyer job is different (size, paper, quantity, coating) so we quote each one individually. Here's how it works:

Transparent Quoting

We break it down: paper stock, quantity, finishing, the lot. You see exactly what's included before we print a single sheet.

Quantity Pricing

Printing more brings the per-unit number down. If you're on the fence between 500 and 1,000, we'll show you both so you can decide what makes sense.

No Hidden Costs

Setup and standard trimming? Already in the quote. Extras like lamination or folding get listed separately, and nothing shows up on the invoice that wasn't discussed first.

Design Services Separate

Got print-ready files? Great, you're only paying for ink and paper. Need us to design the flyer too? We quote that as its own line item based on what's involved.

Frequently Asked Questions - Flyer Printing

Depends on how you're getting them out there. A5 (148mm x 210mm) is our most popular. It fits letterboxes, sits in display holders, and gives you enough room for a decent layout. DL (99mm x 210mm) is great for mailing or slotting into brochure racks. Go A4 if you've got a lot to say or want poster-style impact. A6 keeps things compact for high-volume handouts.
One headline. One image. One call to action. That's the formula. People glance at a flyer for maybe two seconds, so the main message needs to hit immediately. Don't bury it under paragraphs of text or five different photos. White space is your friend. And if design isn't your thing, our team handles it.
170gsm or heavier is the starting point for anything going outdoors. But paper alone won't survive Auckland rain, so add gloss or matte lamination and you've got something that lasts weeks on a noticeboard or shop window. For flyers that need to handle serious weather, we can print on synthetic waterproof stock.
Absolutely, and honestly most flyers should be. Front side grabs attention with your headline and a strong image. Back side carries the detail: your menu, a map, terms and conditions, opening hours, whatever. Same paper, double the real estate.
Big, bold headline. Strong contrast between text and background. One hero image, not six small ones fighting for space. We see a lot of flyers come through that try to cram everything onto one side, and the result is nobody reads any of it. Less clutter, more impact.
Send us a PDF with images at 300dpi, colours set to CMYK (not RGB, that's for screens), and 3mm bleed on all edges. Embed your fonts or convert them to outlines so nothing shifts. Keep important text and logos at least 5mm away from the trim line. Not sure about any of that? Just send what you've got and we'll check it.
