Project Consultation
Tell us what you're trying to make. Seriously, just describe it, even if you don't know the technical terms. Half the time, the best approach is different from what people initially picture, and a 15-minute conversation saves a lot of back-and-forth later.
Technical Assessment
We work out what's doable in-house versus what needs a specialist supplier. Some jobs need both. And we'll be upfront if there's a constraint, because certain materials won't take certain finishes, for example.
Options Development
Most custom projects have more than one viable path. We'll lay out the options with honest trade-offs so you can pick the direction that fits your priorities.
Sampling and Prototyping
You get a physical sample before the full run. Hold it. Fold it. Show it to your team. If something's off, we adjust now, not after 500 units are printed.
Production Planning
Custom work has more moving parts than standard jobs. Materials need ordering, processes need sequencing, and everything has to line up. We map it out so nothing gets missed.
Quality Management
Non-standard specs mean we can't just set it and forget it. We check output throughout the run, especially on the first dozen sheets, because catching a drift early beats discovering it in the delivery box.

Prototype Before Production
You'll hold a physical sample before we run the full job. Test the fold. Check the colour against your brand swatch. If it's not right, we tweak it, because finding problems on a prototype is infinitely better than finding them on 1,000 finished pieces.
Specialty Material Sourcing
Metallic pearl stock looks incredible but it's fussy under ink. Synthetic Yupo is waterproof but won't take standard toner. We've tested enough unusual materials to know which ones actually perform, and we'll source samples for you to approve before committing.

Custom shapes need tooling. We draw the die lines, factor in paper grain direction, and build structural templates that fold cleanly and assemble without fighting. Sounds straightforward, but getting tolerances wrong by half a millimetre ruins the whole piece.

Print it, laminate it, die-cut it, foil stamp the logo, hand-assemble the final piece. Five processes, and the order matters. We plan the sequence so each step works with what came before, not against it.
Variable Data Integration
2,000 direct mail pieces, each with a different name and offer code? Done in one run. We merge your data with the design file so every piece is unique but the layout stays locked and the print quality stays consistent throughout.
Reverse-Engineering Capability
No original files? No problem. Bring us the physical piece and we'll measure the stock weight, match the Pantone colours, identify the finishing, and rebuild the artwork from scratch. We've done this more times than you'd think.
