Letterhead & Business Cards - Creative Design and Print

Letterhead & Business Cards

Letterhead, business cards, envelopes, and compliment slips printed in Auckland with colour-matched branding across every piece.

Your letterhead says something about your business before anyone reads a word on the page. Cheap paper, dodgy colour matching, slightly-off logo placement, and people notice that stuff, even if they can't articulate why. We're an Auckland stationery printing team that handles letterhead printing Auckland businesses use for proposals, contracts, and day-to-day correspondence. And yes, we do the matching business cards too.

What is Letterhead & Business Cards?

Here's what we've found after years of printing stationery: the businesses that bother with proper letterhead and business cards tend to close more deals. Not because the paper is magic, but because it signals you've got your act together. When a client pulls your proposal out of a stack and the letterhead feels right, that matters. View our entire print shop range for additional corporate materials.

Creative Design and Print handles:

  • Letterhead printing on stocks that won't jam your office printer
  • Business cards in every style, from simple to foiled and embossed
  • Compliment slips (still surprisingly useful)
  • Printed envelopes matched to your letterhead
  • Full stationery suites where every piece looks like it belongs together

We do the colour matching in-house, which means your logo blue on a business card is the same blue on your letterhead. Sounds obvious, but you'd be surprised how often that goes wrong.

Law firms, accountants, tradies going after bigger contracts, startups trying to look established. We've printed stationery for all of them across Auckland. If you want to take it further, pair your stationery with brand guidelines documentation or coordinate with staff uniform embroidery so everything matches.

When You Need Us

When You Need Letterhead & Business Cards

1

New Business Formation

You're starting fresh and you want to look like you've been at this for years. Good letterhead and business cards do that. They're the quickest way to project credibility before you've built a reputation.

2

Rebranding Launch

New logo, new colours, maybe a whole new direction. Every piece of stationery needs to match the updated brand, and it all needs to roll out together. We handle that.

3

Office Expansion

More people, maybe a second location. The reorder needs to be identical to what you've already got: same paper, same colour, no guessing.

4

Staff Additions

New hire starts Monday. They need business cards that look like they belong on the same team as everyone else's.

5

Quality Upgrade

That 80gsm paper you started with? It was fine then. But your business has grown and the stationery hasn't kept up. Heavier stock, maybe a foil finish, and it changes the feel entirely.

6

Compliance Requirements

Some industries need formal letterhead for official correspondence. Legal, financial, medical. If your regulator expects it on letterhead, we'll make sure it meets the standard.

7

Professional Services

Lawyers, accountants, consultants. In those worlds, your stationery is part of how clients judge whether you're worth the fee.

8

Proposal and Tender Submissions

When you're up against five other companies in a tender, the one with polished stationery looks more put-together. It shouldn't matter that much. But it does.

9

Client Correspondence

A letter on branded letterhead hits differently than the same words on plain A4. For important correspondence (contracts, formal updates, thank-you letters), it's worth it.

10

Event and Conference Attendance

You meet someone at a conference, swap cards. A thick, well-printed card stays in the wallet. A flimsy one gets binned at the hotel.

Our Process

Our Letterhead & Business Cards Process

01

Design Coordination

Got print-ready files? Great, send them through. Need us to design from scratch? Also fine. Either way, we make sure the spacing, colours, and logo placement are consistent across every piece: letterhead, cards, envelopes, the lot.

02

Paper Selection

This is where a lot of people trip up. Pick a stock that's too heavy and it jams in your office printer. Too light and it feels cheap. We'll recommend something that looks and feels right but still feeds through a standard laser or inkjet without drama.

03

Colour Matching

Printing your brand blue on uncoated letterhead paper is different from printing it on a coated 350gsm business card. Different substrates absorb ink differently. We calibrate for each one so the colour looks the same across all your stationery.

04

Template Compatibility

Your letterhead has to work with Word, Google Docs, whatever your team uses. We design with standard margins and header positions in mind so typed content sits where it should.

05

Production

We print on commercial-grade gear with calibrated colour management. Not home-printer territory. Proper offset or digital production depending on the run.

06

Quality Control

Every batch gets checked before it leaves. Colour accuracy, print registration, trimming. You get stationery that's ready to use straight out of the box.

Why Choose Us

Why Choose Creative Design and Print for Letterhead & Business Cards?

Coordinated Stationery Suites

Letterhead, business cards, envelopes, compliment slips, all printed together so the colours, fonts, and paper weight feel like they belong to the same brand. Because they do.

Printer-Compatible Stocks

We pick papers that actually work with your office printer. No point having gorgeous letterhead if it jams every third sheet.

Exact Colour Matching Across Items

Different substrates absorb ink differently, which means your brand colour can shift between a business card and a letterhead. We calibrate each run separately so that doesn't happen.

Word Processing Template Alignment

Your team types letters in Word or Google Docs. We design the letterhead so margins, headers, and footer positions line up with standard document templates. No awkward overlaps.

Consistent Reorders Over Time

We keep your job specs and colour profiles on file. Order again in six months or two years, and it'll match the original batch.

Premium Finishing Options

Foil stamping, embossing, spot UV, thicker card stocks. For law firms, architects, financial advisors. For industries where your card needs to feel like it cost more than the conversation.

Letterhead & Business Cards Pricing

Every stationery job is different (quantities, paper stocks, finishes, whether you need design work or you're supplying artwork). Here's how we handle quoting:

Package Pricing

Ordering letterhead, business cards, and envelopes together? That's usually cheaper than ordering each one separately. Ask us about stationery bundles.

No Hidden Costs

Setup and proofing are part of the quote. If you want something extra (foiling, embossing, a heavier stock), we'll quote that separately and explain exactly what it adds.

Quantity Breaks

Print more, pay less per unit. We can help you figure out the sweet spot between ordering enough and not drowning in boxes of letterhead you won't use for three years.

Design Services Separate

Plenty of our customers send print-ready PDFs and skip this entirely. But if you need design, we quote it based on what's involved.

Frequently Asked Questions - Letterhead & Business Cards

100-120gsm uncoated is the sweet spot for most businesses. Heavy enough to feel decent, light enough to feed through your office printer without jamming. If you want something with more weight, maybe for cover letters or formal proposals, 120-160gsm gives a noticeably more substantial feel. We can send you samples to test with your actual printer before committing.
At minimum: your logo, company name, address, phone, email, and website. Beyond that, it depends on your industry. Some businesses need a GST number, company registration number, or professional licence details. If you're in a regulated industry, check what your regulator requires. We've printed for enough law firms and financial advisors to know the common ones.
A4 (210mm x 297mm). That's the standard here and we design all letterheads to work with A4 document layouts and word processing templates.
That's the whole point. We specifically recommend uncoated stocks in the 100-120gsm range because they run through laser and inkjet printers without issues. Steer clear of heavily coated or textured papers for letterhead because they look nice but tend to cause feeding problems.
We actually encourage it. When we print everything in the same run, we're colour-matching across all pieces at once. Letterhead, cards, envelopes, compliment slips. Order them together and the branding stays consistent.
Send us a high-res PDF with fonts embedded or outlined, images in CMYK at 300dpi, and bleed set up if the design runs to the edge. Not sure if your files are print-ready? Send them anyway, and our design team can check and fix what needs fixing.
